Ginger Sparkle


1 measure rooibos tea steeped vodka
Splash of dry vermouth
1/4 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
2 teaspoons agave syrup
Cloudy lemonade


Begin by making Trumpers Rooibos Tea Steeped Vodka. Simply add 6 teaspoons of Rooibos tea to a 750ml bottle of vodka. Allow to steep for up to 8 hours. Invert the bottle occasionally to let the leaves move around. Don’t leave the tea in the vodka any longer than 8 hours, as it will allow the tannins to come out of the leaves and make the drink bitter. You can strain off the leaves and keep the vodka as normal after the 8 hours steeping.

Pour 1 measure of Trumpers Rooibos Tea steeped vodka and splash of dry vermouth into a cocktail shaker with 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated ginger, 2 teaspoons agave nectar and crushed ice. Shake! Pour over ice in a high ball glass, and top up with lemonade.
